Well, I am sorry that I don't have any pictures...I am at work...but I will be posting some pics of our trip Sunday very soon! We went to the Red River to go mudding and had the BEST time! The river was up quite a bit, so there wasn't alot of trail riding-which I didn't mind, because I like mudding the most! Let's see-what can I update on since March 1??
I started doing a 42 day weight loss challenge that I learned about from a friends blog-Smart people would insert her name here-Tanna- and it would be a link to her blog-but, I do not fall in that category. Sorry. I have lost 6lbs and we have about a week and half to go. I have grown alot during this challenge-emotionally. Weight loss is hard-and SO mental for me!!
Yesterday I went and joined Weight Watchers-again! I am determined to make it work this time! I am also looking forward to the Summer schedule at our Wellness Center here at work-the University offers classes to the faculty for free-so I am going to take full advantage! Today I start Zumba...I swear I burn more calories laughing in that class!
We are now on a new schedule at work-where we work 7-6 and have Friday's off. I know that I will be thankful come Friday, but right now it is hard getting up so early!! I get zero sympathy from my sweet hubby who got up at 1:00 a.m. to go to work this morning.
We are going this weekend to Kerrville, Texas to visit Barry's dad and grandparents. Unfortunately we have to take care of some family business while we are there. Barry's dad has dementia and we are trying to convince the grandparents that giving Barry power of attorney is the best thing to do so that we can move him into an assisted living center. So, even though I have a FIVE day weekend (who wouldn't be excited about that?) I am not really looking foward to that aspect of the trip. Barry's mom is going with us, so that will be fun...she is always a blast and so supportive, which Barry really needs right now. This is so hard on him..seeing his dad this way, at such an early age-he is only 56.
Work is getting better...despite my longer hours. We finished the floors in the living room finallly-I am so glad to get to watch TV in the living room instead of in my bedroom! That gets old after a while! I will try and post some pics of that soon as well.
Next weekend I will attend the high school graduation of a dear, dear friend...I cannot believe he is graduating-I seriously love this kid...time flies.
All of June is booked-I literally have something going on every weekend!! I am hoping that the weekend of the 4th of July is spend being as lazy as possible so that I can recover!
I hope that this finds everyone well-
